How to make Facebook work for your business in 2026
Many brands wrote Facebook off years ago. That was a mistake. Facebook is still one of the biggest places Indians spend time online, and it powers the Meta ads system that also runs on Instagram. If your goal is leads, bookings or footfall, Facebook deserves a place in your plan.
Treat organic and paid as two different jobs
Organic reach on a Facebook page is lower than on Instagram. That is fine. Your page's job is to look trustworthy when someone checks you out: correct timings, real photos, recent posts and genuine reviews. The heavy lifting is done by ads. Keep the page tidy, and put your energy into campaigns that bring people to you.
Build ads for one clear action
The most common mistake we see is the boost button. Boosting a post tells Facebook to find likes, not customers. Instead, pick one action and build the campaign around it:
- Click to WhatsApp for cafés, villas and local services, so people can ask a question in one tap.
- Lead forms for real estate, coaching and B2B, with two or three questions to filter serious buyers.
- Landing page visits when you need people to see prices, rooms or a full offer first.
When Garv by Geetanjali came to us, their cost per lead was ₹12 and the leads were poor. We rebuilt the funnel, from creative direction to audiences and budget split. In 10 days, cost per lead fell to ₹1.25 to ₹3.25, and ₹700 of spend brought in 200+ qualified leads.
Creatives decide most of your results
Targeting has become broad on Meta. The ad itself now does most of the work of finding the right person. That means you need several creatives in every campaign: a short video, a UGC style clip, a clean image with the offer and a carousel. Real faces and real places beat polished stock every time. Our reels and video shoot team shoots content made for ads, and creator videos from our influencer and UGC network often turn into the best performing ads.
Do not forget retargeting
Most people do not book the first time they see you. Retargeting shows a second ad to people who watched your video, opened your WhatsApp or visited your page. These audiences are small, but they are warm, and they usually bring your cheapest leads.
A simple weekly rhythm
- Monday: check cost per lead and lead quality from last week.
- Midweek: pause the weakest ads and add one or two fresh creatives.
- Weekend: move budget to the ad sets that brought real conversations.
- Every day: reply to every lead fast. Speed matters as much as the ad.
If replying fast is hard, a WhatsApp bot from our AI and automation team can answer, share details and qualify leads around the clock.
What to measure
- Cost per lead, not cost per click or likes.
- Lead quality: how many leads pick up the phone and show real interest.
- Cost per booking or sale, once your team tracks which leads convert.
- Frequency: if people see the same ad too often, results drop. Refresh creatives.
